Step 1: Attach the Screen
The Bitaxe Gamma comes with a detachable screen for protection during shipping. Use the included mounts to secure the screen to the device.
Step 2: Connect the Power
Plug the power cord into a wall outlet. The Bitaxe Gamma works with all standard voltages worldwide.
Connect the other end of the power cord to your miner.
Step 3: Initial Startup
Turn on the device and wait for the screen to display “Bitaxe_XXXX” (e.g., Bitaxe_1234), indicating it’s ready for setup.
Step 4: Connect to Wi-Fi
Use your smartphone or computer to find and connect to the Wi-Fi network named “Bitaxe_XXXX”. If prompted, select “Yes” to continue without internet access.
Step 5: Configure AxeOS
If the setup page doesn’t open automatically, open a browser and go to msftconnecttest.com.

In AxeOS, use the upload buttons for “www.bin” and “esp-miner.bin” to complete the update.
